The river liner leaves Guwahati at about 1430 hours and quickly crosses the cityscape. The liner docks in a secluded sand isle near Ganeshpahar in the late afternoon. You can either stay in the Yacht cabins or if you so desire we shall accommodate you in camps on the lovely beaches of the sand isles. Day 02Sailing starts in the morning. The cruise vessel moves gently upstream breaking the waves of the mighty river Brahmaputra flowing east to west. One may fortunately accompany by river Dolphins giving an entertainment dive just near the vessel. Onboard around Chutiagaon. Overnight stay onboard around Chutiagaon Day 03Early risers can watch the sunrise from the Sun Deck while savoring a cup of freshly brewed tea or if you love bird watching move your binoculars for species you have been looking for before breakfast. During breakfast, you will be cruising through green valleys & blue hills. The landscapes are unrepentantly poetic and romantic. The vessel cruises quietly through the day. Overnight stay around singrighat. Day 04Departing early morning, we spend the time cruising leisurely through green valleys & countryside. Indulge the scenery, feel the fresh air while sailing. We will reach Tezpur during noon and take lunch onboard. Then drive to famous Kaziranga National Park, the abode of one horned rhinoceros. Reaching there we check in at a jungle lodge. Evening free, at our own disposal. We can have an evening walk in the nearby surrounding and feel the ambience. Day 05We shall start early in the morning for an elephant safari for 01 hour in the central range of the park. After elephant safari, breakfast at lodge. Then we go for a jeep safari in the western range of the park. In the afternoon after lunch, drive to Guwahati. Overnight stay at Guwahati. Day 06Early morning visit the famous shakti temple Kamakhya atop Neelachal Hills. After visit to the holy temple, transfer to Guwahati airport. Tour Terminates.

S B Agam Brahmaputra Cruise Package 2 ( 7 days ) Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park (KNP) (Roadways) / KNP - Majuli - Jorhat (Waterways) / Jorhat – Guwahati / Dibrugarh (Roadways)- Day 01Our tour manager will welcome you at Guwahati airport & transfer you to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the home to the endangered one horned rhinoceros (1855 rhinos as per 2006 census). Besides, the park has several species of mammals and birds. The park has 70% of the world population of the Asiatic Water Buffaloes & the Eastern Swamp Deer. The park was brought under the Project Tiger recently for special efforts to protect its near 100 Royal Bengal Tigers. Amongst birds, the park has 25 globally threatened bird species. Overnight at Bonhabi Resort/Jupuri Ghar or similar. Day 02We shall start early in the morning for an elephant safari for 01 hr in the central range of the park. Later we have packed-breakfast & enter deep in the central range of the park in a jeep. Later we come back to hotel for check out. Afterwards transfer to Silghat to embark on the Cruise vessel. Lunch on board. Sailing up to Biswanathghat. Overnight stay at Upstream Biswanathghat. Day 03Early morning visit Biswanath temple,an age old Shiva temple dated back to more than 500 years ,enjoy the scenic beauty and holiness of the the grand vestige of Ahom architecture . Later start cruising up to Dhansirimukhghat. Overnight stay at Upstream Dhansirimukhghat. Day 04Early morning starts sailing exploring both the riverbanks from sundeck. Reach at Modarguri Chapori,and have a visit to a Mishing village through green paddy fields. Mishing tribe is the only riverine tribe of Assam, migrated from Arunachal and contributing a vibrant cultural life to the mosaic of Assamese communities. We can enjoy the chang-dweling and rural life and handloom and cuisine in that village. Day 05 Arrive Kamalabari of Majuli Island in the late afternoon. Overnight onboard at Kamalabari. Day 06After an early breakfast, explore Majuli, the largest river island in the World. It is the centre of Assam’s famous Vaisnavite form of Hinduism. The religious and cultural traditions are kept alive by the dedicated monks living in monasteries locally known as Sattra. The Sattriya dance of this sect is the latest entry into India’s recognized classical dances. The monastery of Samaguri known as Samaguri Sattra is famous for the unique masks of Majuli which are used in Bhaonas or religious plays. We shall visit some monasteries & interact with the monks. Then sailing to Nimati ghat over night onboard Day 07Early morning drive to Guwahati Airport (06 hours) to catch the afternoon flight. Alternatively, tea garden visit in Jorhat and finally transfer to Jorhat / Dibrugarh (03 hours) Airport.

Day 07Reach Guwahati in the morning hours after a short cruise. Depending on your flight departure if we have time we shall do some shopping for Assam’s famous handloom & handicraft products & also for some famous Assam tea known for its strong liquor. Later transfer to Guwahati airport for your flight on time.
