These are some pictures from an unplanned trip that worked out very well.  I got a call from Seth on Wednesday (he works for European Union in Delhi).  He wanted to get away for a weekend, what could I do???   Delhi is hot and miserable in the summer.

So we just rushed a plan - I said first we look at the calendar for Market Days in the Khasi Hills - go down there and then let the day go as it  may . He and a friend flew in on Friday evening and left Sunday morning.

Here are a few of the pictures -  we got a market day - a Bull Fights - A Dance (shad suk mynsiem) - tough to beat for an unplanned trip. We also went to the border of Bangladesh and Meghalaya.
